Maple, Pecan & Banana Porridge
You will need:
- 1/2 cup Oats (rolled oats preferred)
- 1 cup Milk of choice
- 1/2 medium Banana
- 1 small handful of Nuts (pecans preferred)
- 1/4 cup Granola
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1. Combine milk and oats in a small saucepan and stir on medium heat until desired consistency.
- 2. Pour into a serving bowl and allow to sit for 1 minute.
- 3. Top with sliced banana, nuts, granola, and maple syrup.
- 4. Enjoy!
Crunchy Fruit Yoghurt Bowl
You will need:
- 200g Yoghurt of choice (greek preferred)
- 80g Mango
- 30g Blueberries
- Any other fruits of choice
- 1 small handful of Nuts (almonds preferred)
- 1 small handful of Goji berries
- 1/4 cup Granola
- 2 tbsp Agave Syrup (or honey)
- 1. Place yoghurt in bowl for the base.
- 2. Add your desired fruits.
- 3. Add granola, nuts and other crunchy toppings.
- 4. Drizzle with Agave Syrup and enjoy!
Fruitful Muesli Magic
You will need:
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Milk of choice
- 1/8 cup Dried fruit of choice (I used apricots, pear & sultanas)
- Fresh toppings: sliced Banana, Blueberries, Strawberries, & Peaches
- Nuts and/or Seeds are optional
- 1. Combine dried fruit, nuts, seeds and rolled oats in your bowl.
- 2. Top with fresh fruit of choice.
- 3. Agave syrup is a nice addition if you want extra sweetness.
- 4. Add the milk and enjoy!
Strawberry & Cream Porridge
You will need:
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Milk of choice
- 1/4 cup fresh Strawberries (sliced)
- 30mL Whipping Cream
- 1. Combine milk and oats in a small saucepan and stir on medium heat until desired consistency.
- 2. Pour into a serving bowl and allow to sit for 1 minute.
- 3. Combine whipping cream and sugar in a mug and whip using an electric milk frother until thickened.
- 4. Top the oats with the sliced strawberries and cream.
- 5. Enjoy!
Hearty Egg & Chicken Ramen
You will need:
- 1 packet of Instant Ramen
- Approx. 450mL boiling water
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup cooked chicken (I used leftover rotisserie chicken)
- 2-3 sprigs of Broccolini (Can use bok/pak choi instead)
- Spring onion & Coriander to garnish
- 1. Empty ramen packet contents into a deep bowl.
- 2. Pour boiling water to the surface of the noodles and cover with foil.
- 3. Steam broccolini and cook egg in the microwave or however you prefer (I find microwave is quicker!).
- 4. Once cooked, top the noodles with Broccolini, egg, chicken pieces.
- 5. Garnish with chopped spring onion and/or coriander. Add Salt & Pepper for taste.
- 6. Time to devour!
